Good Morning

Last night we had a picnic with my sister, who is camping, and enjoyed the campfire that her family made. This morning my daughter, husband and I took a two mile walk in the neighborhood. The weather is beautiful and I look forward to enjoying a lot of outdoor time this weekend.

Spring Candles and Graduation

Yesterday, I was in a quaint little country craft store and found two Yankee Candles for our home. The first was a classic Lavendar and the second a Sunwashed Linen. I look forward to a sweet smelling home that reminds me of springtime. I did a little shopping for my Daughter’s graduation. I am still trying to find just the right thing to go with a lovely floral skirt that I purchased a few weeks ago I thought a pink sweater would work but found that it looks really nice on my sister-in-laws but not on me so I am trying jackets now. Our life is very busy with last minute deatils in preparation for graduation and I am looking forward to this special moment for our child….more later.

Being Sick and Girly Things

I was sick for about 2 weeks and am, feeling much better now. I still have some congestion, nausea and headache that lingers but, I am up and moving. We did a little grocery shopping today and me and my little one have the rest of the evening together to do some schoolwork while the others are busy with activities with Dad. My sweet sister-in-laws did a really special thing for me and my daughter this past weekend. We all had pedicures and manicures. Afterwards we picked out some skirts and shirts for my nephew's and daughter's upcoming graduations. All of us found something with pinks and browns in it so we will all coordinate. It was a lot of fun just spending time with them doing girly-girl things.
