Today is a sick day....so was yesterday from noon on. I have a fever, chills, sore all over, coughing that burns, and congestion. I think my little one has passed this on to me. He is currently recovering from a similar thing. No real plans other than resting. I keep eyeing the book that I would like to finish reading. I tried yesterday but felt too bad to do even that. Lots of liquids and ibuprofen on the menu.

My Week in Review
This week I have been watching a little T.V. while taking care of my sick little one. He has had a fever that has been very hard to keep down. He loves to watch Lost In Space and to snuggle with Mama. I took him to see the Doctor and he is feeling better now. ~smile~
that I have made and some waiting to be made. My daughter is working on scarves. I have been doing a little reading and will share a little about the book I am enjoying later.

Twenty Seven
It has been 27 years since the night that I met him. I noticed him because he had red hair and had fallen on the skating rink floor. The disco ball was twirling, little glimmers of light were everywhere. The black light made everything that was white glow in the darkness. He ask me to skate. And so we did...through 24 years of marriage and three children, ups and downs, happiness and sadness. And I love him so much more 27 years later. Thanks for the beautiful roses honey.

Decorating the Dining Room
I was thinking about my decorating style this morning.
I really like the look of floral quilts on the dining room
table. A basket of flowers adorn the center and a
wonderful scented candle with a beautiful topper. I
like the Old Country Roses china pattern and I love tea
and tea related items. Deep rose, pink, taupe, sage green,
and pale yellow are my favorite colors for this room. Our
furniture for this room is oak with a natural finish on it.
There are several pictures of family members, a floral
wreath, and a wall clock that must be wound to keep time.
Our curtains are crisp, white, and ruffled. It is the easiest
room to maintain especially with the oak floors. In a sense I
think it is one of my favorites. It is simple, warm and inviting.
I am looking for a floral, bright quilt for the table that welcomes
the arrival of spring.
