3 cups of plain flour
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/8 cups of vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 1/2 teaspoons each of almond flavoring,
vanilla extract and butter flavoring
1 1/2 tablespoons of poppy seeds
Mix. Pour into a greased tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

A few weeks ago my daughter and I had the opportunity to have a smell-fest in a shop that sells Yankee Candles. We found two new favorite scents: Country Linen, a floral clean linen scent and Midsummer Night, a woodsy, musky, masculine scent. We also had some time to spend in one of our favorite scrapbook stores. My daughter is working on a project for her cousin's graduation (next year...she is a planner/organizer) and chose some Basic Grey papers to use. I had fun lookings at the Daisy D's papers and all the cool new embellishments that they carry in this particular store. I think I will have to take the time to post some pics of some of our favorite cards adn scrapbook pages that we have made. I have a lot of fun spending time alone with my sweet girl and I hope that you are enjoying time with you daughters too!

What do you believe about God? Does He seems to be a distant relative that comes to visit now and then? Is He a friend that you talk to when things are going rough? Is He so close to you that He is in every fiber of your being...that it would be impossible to separate Him from you. Hummm... Let's see what His Word says...

The Truth is that I have so often based the Truth upon how I feel...And yet here is God's Word. He loves me so much that He is constantly/continuously with me. There is no where that I can go that would be away from Him. His hand is upon me. I am in His heart, mind, thoughts at all times. He knows all my thoughts before I think them and my actions before I do them. There is nothing that He does not know about me. He intimately knows everything about me...including my sins that have been forgiven through His Son. This Truth is so overwhelming to me...unconditional love forever.
And guess what....
This Truth is the same for you too.
